Setting up with Highlight

This MCP is not yet compatible with Highlight’s one-click setup. However, you can still use it with Highlight by following these steps:

Download and install Highlight from highlightai.com/download
Navigate to the plugins tab and select "Add Custom Plugin"
Configure the plugin with the settings below

Plugin Name MarketScope AI: Healthcare Product Analytics

Command (node, npx, python, etc.)

Please refer to the README for specific instructions on how to obtain API keys or other required environment variables.
Enable "Start Automatically" if you want the plugin to start when Highlight launches

From the repository

The platform requires Python 3.8 or higher. Start by running python run_servers.py for automatic dependency installation and server startup, or manually install requirements with pip install -r requirements.txt, then start the API server (python api/main.py) and the Streamlit frontend (streamlit run frontend/app.py). Deployed instances are also accessible via the listed HTTP endpoints.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

Setup and Running

Simple Method

Run the simplified starter script:

python run_servers.py

This will:
1. Check for required packages and install them if needed
2. Start the API server
3. Start the Streamlit frontend
4. Provide you with the URL to access the application

Manual Setup

1. Install dependencies:

pip install -r requirements.txt

2. Start the API server:

python api/main.py

Data Analysis

2. Go to Sales & Marketing Analysis page

RAG for Marketing Knowledge

MarketScope includes a Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) system that provides access to marketing knowledge from Philip Kotler's Marketing Management book:

1. Go to the Query Optimization page
2. Enter your marketing question
3. The system will retrieve relevant sections from the book
4. Get tailored marketing strategies for your specific segment
