These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and GGStudios SDN. BHD. (“GGStudios”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) governing access to and use of MCP Server List (the “Site,” including related pages, APIs we expose, and account features). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. About the Site
MCP Server List is an independent directory of Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, clients, and related resources for discovery and research. Listings may be curated, user-submitted, or derived from public sources. Not affiliated with any of the products, brands, servers, clients, or third-party services listed on this website. The Site does not host or execute MCP servers for you; any software you install from third-party links is at your own risk.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country, if higher) and able to form a binding contract to create an account, submit listings, post reviews, purchase advertising, or use other account-gated features. If you use the Site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization.
3. Accounts
You may register with email and password or via supported OAuth providers (such as Google, GitHub, or Discord). You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and OAuth-linked accounts, and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and notify us promptly of unauthorized use. We may refuse registration, require verification, or suspend accounts that appear abusive, fraudulent, or in violation of these Terms.
4. License to use the Site
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for your personal or internal business purposes—primarily browsing, searching, and interacting with published features (accounts, submissions, reviews, ads, and support) in the ordinary way through our interfaces. This license does not include any right to copy, republish, resell, or commercially exploit Site data or the Site as a product, except as expressly allowed in writing or under Section 9 (permitted search-engine indexing).
5. Directory content
Server and client listings may include names, logos, descriptions, READMEs, links, ratings, tags, videos, and other metadata. We do not guarantee that any listing is complete, accurate, up to date, secure, non-malicious, or fit for any purpose. Always review upstream documentation, licenses, security advisories, and source code before installing or running MCP software. Featured, recommended, official, popular, or paid placements do not constitute an endorsement of safety or quality.
6. User content, reviews & submissions
“User Content” means anything you submit to the Site, including server submissions, advertising creatives and copy, reviews, ratings, profile details, and support messages.
- You retain ownership of your User Content, subject to the licenses below and any rights of third parties.
- You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting), display, distribute, and otherwise use User Content to operate, promote, and improve the Site and our directory services.
- You represent that you have all rights needed to grant that license and that your User Content is accurate, lawful, and not misleading; does not infringe IP, privacy, or publicity rights; and does not contain malware or harmful instructions.
- Reviews must reflect genuine experience. Fake, paid-without-disclosure, or manipulative reviews are prohibited.
- We may edit, refuse, unpublish, or remove User Content at our discretion, including for legal, safety, or quality reasons.
7. Advertising & payments
Paid submissions and advertising (including tiered placements) are subject to availability, our creative and targeting guidelines, and our right to review, reject, pause, edit, or remove ads that we reasonably believe violate these Terms, law, or user trust. Placement, impressions, ranking, and results are not guaranteed; inventory and algorithms may change.
Prices, duration, and billing terms are shown at checkout. Unless required by law or we expressly agree otherwise in writing, fees are non-refundable once payment is accepted, including for early cancellation, rejection after payment where your materials violate these Terms, or dissatisfaction with performance. Taxes may apply. Payments are processed by third-party processors (such as PayPal); their terms also apply to the payment transaction.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to, and not to assist others to:
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or non-public areas of the Site;
- Probe, scan, or test vulnerability of the Site except with our prior written consent;
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site, including via overload, malware, or denial-of-service;
- Bypass rate limits, security, CAPTCHA/bot checks, or access controls;
- Post spam, phishing, deceptive, defamatory, or illegal content;
- Infringe intellectual property or other rights;
- Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation;
- Use the Site to harm minors or distribute illegal or high-risk payloads without clear, lawful context;
- Resell, sublicense, or provide Site data as a competing directory or dataset without written permission.
9. No scraping or automated harvesting
You may not scrape, crawl, spider, harvest, mirror, bulk-download, frame, or otherwise systematically extract data, content, listings, metadata, HTML, JSON, feeds, or other materials from the Site—including via bots, scripts, scrapers, AI agents, browser automation, or similar means—except with our prior written permission, or as expressly allowed by non-waivable applicable law.
Ordinary interactive use through a standard web browser by a human, and indexing by major public web search engines
that respect robots.txt and crawl politely, are permitted. API access, if any is offered, is governed by
separate documentation and keys; undocumented endpoints are not a license to harvest.
Each violation of this Section 9 is a material breach. You agree unauthorized scraping causes harm that is difficult to quantify in advance, and that liquidated damages of USD 100,000 (one hundred thousand United States dollars) per violation are a reasonable pre-estimate of loss (investigation, mitigation, infrastructure, and business harm), not a penalty. We may also seek injunctive relief, proven actual damages above that amount, attorneys’ fees where allowed, account termination, and permanent IP/account blocking, without limiting other remedies.
10. Intellectual property
The Site’s branding, design, selection and arrangement of the directory, original editorial content, and software are owned by GGStudios SDN. BHD. or its licensors. You may not copy or use our trademarks except for accurate, non-misleading factual references. Third-party marks (including Anthropic, OpenAI, MCP, and product names in listings) belong to their owners and are used for identification only. Not affiliated with any of the products, brands, servers, clients, or third-party services listed on this website.
If you believe content on the Site infringes your rights, email [email protected] with sufficient detail to locate the material and verify your claim. We may remove or disable access to disputed content and, where appropriate, terminate repeat infringers.
11. Third-party services
The Site links to and describes third-party websites, repositories, MCP servers, clients, payment providers, and OAuth providers. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, privacy practices, security, or terms. Your use of third-party services is solely between you and that third party.
12. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT DIRECTORY DATA IS ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GGStudios SDN. BHD. AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SITE OR RELIANCE ON DIRECTORY CONTENT, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 100. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (such as fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited). Nothing in this Section limits your liability under Section 9 (No scraping) or your indemnity obligations.
14. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GGStudios SDN. BHD. and its directors, employees, and agents from and against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your User Content, submissions, advertising, misuse of the Site, scraping or harvesting, or violation of these Terms or law.
15. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Site or your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, create risk or possible legal exposure for us, or for prolonged inactivity. You may stop using the Site at any time. Sections that by nature should survive (including IP, scraping damages, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and general terms) survive termination.
16. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Site. For material changes affecting paid advertising already purchased, we will try to honor the prior terms for the remaining paid period where reasonably practicable, unless law or safety requires otherwise.
17. General
- Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Courts in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence.
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site and supersede prior understandings on that subject.
- Severability. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect; the unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent needed to make it enforceable.
- Waiver. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to do so later.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures due to events beyond our reasonable control.
- Language. These Terms are in English. Translations, if any, are for convenience only.
