Setting up with Highlight
This MCP is not yet compatible with Highlight’s one-click setup. However, you can still use it with Highlight by following these steps:
- Download and install Highlight from highlightai.com/download
- Navigate to the plugins tab and select "Add Custom Plugin"

Configure the plugin with the settings below
Plugin Name
MoLing MineCraft MCP ServerCommand (node, npx, python, etc.)Please refer to the README for specific instructions on how to obtain API keys or other required environment variables.
- Enable "Start Automatically" if you want the plugin to start when Highlight launches
From the repository
1. Download the package from the releases page
2. Extract the package
Using ⛏ Hello Minecraft! Launcher as an example, download it, start it first to load the relevant resources, and keep it ready.
Download the corresponding version from Claude Desktop.

Usage Steps
Download Minecraft Java Server
Download the latest Java server from the Minecraft official website and save it locally.Configure Minecraft Client

Run in command line:./moling_mc config --init
Choose Prompts
clickAttach from MCP , Choose MoLing MineCraft AI Assistant, click minecraft_prompt.
Assign Tasks
> Build a futuristic Oriental Pearl Radio & TV Tower at locations "40, 87, 125" ， approximately 100 meters tall.
> The main structure should be smooth metal and glass, topped with a spherical dome.
> Add LED lights and luminous stones, and design a modern open plaza at the base of the tower.
