Setting up with Highlight
This MCP is not yet compatible with Highlight’s one-click setup. However, you can still use it with Highlight by following these steps:
- Download and install Highlight from highlightai.com/download
- Navigate to the plugins tab and select "Add Custom Plugin"

From the repository
Install via uvx (no installation needed) or pip install paypal-invoice-mcp-server. Configure it in Claude.app by adding the server to your MCP settings, then ask your LLM to create an invoice by supplying invoice details like recipient email, amount, due date, and description.

Installation
Using uv (recommended)
When using uv no specific installation is needed. We will
use uvx to directly run paypal-invoice-mcp-server.
Using PIP
Alternatively you can install paypal-invoice-mcp-server via pip:
pip install paypal-invoice-mcp-server
After installation, you can run it as a script using:
python -m paypal-invoice-mcp-server

Debugging
You can use the MCP inspector to debug the server. For uvx installations:

Or if you've installed the package in a specific directory or are developing on it:
