You will need a Leapd API key from your dashboard. The server speaks MCP over stdio, so any compliant client works.

Tasks execute on Leapd, not on your machine. Nothing takes a workspace or account id — scope comes from your API key, so a caller can only ever reach its own business.

- One credential, ever. Your Leapd key is the only secret the server reads. It does not load environment files or credential stores, so no key belonging to another tool can be picked up.
- It can only reach Leapd. The API host is allowlisted over HTTPS, so a misconfigured address is rejected at startup rather than becoming a way to send your key elsewhere.
- It never appears in output. Errors, logs, and tool results are tested to exclude it.
- No local execution. Every tool is one authenticated HTTPS call. The server runs no commands and opens no files on your machine.
